Southmont Borough is made up of a 1 square mile area of land at approx 1,572 ft (479 m) elevation. Southmont is most known for its residential community. It is home to the Southmont soccer field which is used by the borough to house the annual Southmont Jubilee, as well as, many sporting events throughout the year. Adjacent to the soccer field lies the Southmont Courts, formerly a tennis court, but in recent years has been known for many pick up basketball & roller hockey games.
